Estimate 2,000–4,500 TRY
Earth is not a third hole put on a socket for decoration. A metal body, a washing machine, an oven, will leak into that hole in a fault. If the hole is empty, the leak waits on the body. In an old flat the hole is missing. In a new flat the hole is there and the bar is broken. I do not close the two in one sentence. The estimate sits between 700 and 2,500 TRY. It is not a locked price for a bar I have not seen.

Adnan Şemiye, ElektrikçiGO electrician, fitting an Istanbul meter cabinet
Do not think earth is present because an earthed plug enters the socket. The plug enters and the tail inside sits in the air. I measure that tail. Without a measurement I do not change the socket and say «it is earthed». If the washing machine body tingles, pull the plug and do not touch the body with a wet hand. The tingle is earth's news. I have seen someone cut the earth tongue off the plug to silence the news. The tongue is not cut. The tongue is where the body is supposed to escape.
If I see an earth bridged to a water pipe, I take it off. A water pipe is not an earth. The day the plumber changes that pipe for plastic, the bridge hangs in the air and you still think earth is there. A gas pipe is not an earth either. I do not tighten a screw onto them. The bar is in the panel. If the bar is broken I look there. Before I tighten the bar I separate whether the tail is clean or whether it has taken paint. A painted tail is not tightened. Paint sits there like insulation.
If you want, I write shortly what I measured. It is not a laboratory report. It is a site note. In the note I write which socket was empty, whether the bar held, and what I deliberately did not do that day. The job I deliberately do not do is changing the whole flat's cable. That is a rewire, with its own range. If an earth tail is coming to one socket, it is this page. If a new run is going to every room, it is the cable page. I do not melt the two into one invoice.
I do not put a megger on while the residual-current device is connected. The device burns and I think I measured. I separate the device, I measure, I put it back. I do not open the bar cover while it is live. Do not put a screwdriver inside the panel either. 700 to 2,500 TRY is for measuring a tail, cleaning a bar, and the short job that brings earth to one socket. A rod in the garden, a plant ring, the whole riser sit outside this range. If the job will leave the range, I write it before I put a spade in the ground.
The bathroom and the kitchen come before the living-room socket. The living room does not tingle. The bathroom does, because water and metal are there. I measure there first. If a child put a fork in a socket, drop the circuit, do not pull the fork, and call. The hand that pulls the fork becomes a second path on a socket that has no earth. When I arrive I cut the end the fork touched, I put the cover back, and I write whether earth arrived.
When I finish I do not check the body with the back of my hand. I check it with the meter. I write three things: whether the tingle went, whether the bar held, and which socket I deliberately left without earth. The socket I deliberately leave is the one whose tail disappeared inside the wall that day. I do not close it as «done». The night rate is separate and I say it before I leave. We work as an approved technician network and The arrival window is stated clearly on the call. I do not lock a figure on the phone for a bar I have not seen.
A hydrophore or a washing machine standing in the basement looks at a different bar from the flat's socket. If that bar is rusty the machine tingles, you change the socket upstairs, and the tingle does not stop. I measure the bar on the floor where the machine stands first. If upstairs is clean and the basement is rusty, the job is in the basement. I do not invoice upstairs before I write the basement. If I did I would be selling a job I have not seen. I do not sand a rusty bar and say «it is clean». Sanding also takes the paint, and the tail stays insulating. I cut the tail, I seat bare metal on the bar, and then I measure.
The building management's common bar and the flat's bar are not the same screw. I will not strip the common bar without permission. If I act as if I stripped it and leave the broken tail inside the flat, you relax because «the building is earthed», and the body is still empty. I do not put a screwdriver on the common bar before the permission is written. If there is permission I write the measurement in two places: the common bar and your socket. If the two are not one, the riser between them is broken. I do not dig that riser that day. Digging is the rewire's job. It sits outside this range. If the job will leave the range I say so before the dig.
In a shop with a metal counter, if the body of the counter is not tied to the socket, the customer gets a shock and the breaker stays quiet. The breaker staying quiet is not the presence of earth. If earth is missing, the heat the breaker would see never forms. The leak waits on the body. I do not let the shop open before an earth tail reaches that counter. If the tail I will bring fits one socket, it is this page. If a new run will go along the counter, I write it on the circuit page. I do not cheapen the two in one sentence. 700 to 2,500 TRY stays wide so it can carry this separation. I do not narrow it and say one figure on the phone.
If earth is broken between the meter board and the flat board in an apartment, the socket measurement in the flat comes out clean and the basement stays dirty. I do not write the clean measurement to the management as «the building is fine». The sentence I will write them is whether the two bars are the same. If they are not, it is a riser job, and there is no dig inside that day's visit. I also do not hide the measurement because there is no dig. A hidden measurement sends the next electrician to the wrong bar. So the note stays two lines. Two lines do not inflate the 700–2,500 range. What inflates it is stripping the common bar without permission and putting my own bridge in its place. I do not throw my own bridge onto a water pipe. If I did, the whole block would hang in the air on the day the pipe becomes plastic.
A garden rod and a plant ring sit outside this range. I do not feed the job that stays outside into the flat's bar. If I did, 700–2,500 would look finished in one day, while the dig waits until the next week. I do not close the waiting dig by tying it to a gas pipe. A gas pipe is not earth. A water pipe is not earth either. Both become plastic one day, and the block hangs in the air.
I do not close the job when a three-lamp socket tester lights «correct». The tester also lights green in a flat where neutral and earth are bridged on the socket screw. That bridge makes the body live when the neutral opens, and the 30 mA trips with no cause. A neon screwdriver lies too. Even with the tail in the air, the neon lights from the capacity in the wall. I write two voltages, on the same socket, with no load. If phase-to-neutral is 230 and phase-to-earth is 0, the tail is in the air. I do not change the socket and say «it is earthed». If phase-to-earth is also near 230, the tail touches something. That alone is not the bar. If neutral-to-earth, with no load, leaves a few volts and climbs to tens of volts, the tail sits on the wrong conductor or the bar is broken. A few volts under load is normal. I do not write that as a break. The clamp goes on the green-yellow. On a sound earth the clamp sits near zero. If the clamp shows amperes, the neutral is returning on this conductor. I do not pull that wire off and say «the leak is cut». If I pull it, the current comes out on the body and the tingle grows.
A washing machine is class one. It has an earth pin, and the body looks at that pin. A phone charger is class two, it has no pin, and I do not look for earth on a plastic body. A light tingle on the charger is not this page's job. The body of the machine is this page. If the pin is bent I do not straighten it and say «it fitted». A bent pin touches the side wall of the hole and does not touch the tail. This page already writes the person who cuts the pin. I do not solder a thin bell wire in place of a cut pin. Bell wire is 0.5 mm². It is not where the body is supposed to escape. The new plug matches the section of the machine's own cord. If the cord is 1 mm² the plug is that too. The 2.5 of the socket run is not forced inside the plug. A forced core thins at the plug neck, and that spot heats.
A metal bath and a metal tap are bonded to the bar. This is not making the water pipe into an electrode. The electrode is the path a fault current takes to earth. The pipe is not that path. The bond is there so the bath, the tap and the bar stay at the same potential. If the pipe is plastic I do not fit a clamp. A plastic clamp does not hold a measurement in the hand, and it looks on paper as if it does. A clamp is not tightened onto painted metal either. I scrape the paint, I seat bare metal, and then I write the continuity from the bath to the bar. If there is no continuity I do not close the bath as «bonded». There is no clamp on the gas pipe. A gas pipe is neither an electrode nor a bond point. If the plumber changed a metal tap for plastic, the old clamp hangs in the air. I do not write a clamp that hangs in the air as «the bathroom is earthed». If there is new metal, the bond ends at the bar, not at the pipe.
If the socket run is 2.5 mm², its earth is 2.5 mm² too. A 1.5 mm² green-yellow stolen from the lighting is not enough for the body of a washing machine. I do not upsize the breaker because it is not enough. A larger breaker does not cool the thin green-yellow. It melts it. Green-yellow is only earth. It is not painted as a phase and it is not bridged to the neutral. One tail enters each hole on the bar. Three green-yellows are not crushed under one screw. A Schneider or Siemens bar hole is for one conductor. If the old riser is aluminium, the new copper does not enter the same hole. The aluminium crushes, the copper stays, and the joint heats. A Wago 221 does not take the bar's place. That part is only for copper, and in the panel the tail stays on the bar's screw. A 30 mA does not take the tail's place. If the tail is missing, the device stays quiet until a hand touches the body. If the tail is there, the fault escapes to the bar and the device does not wait for the hand. I do not strip the green-yellow because the device is there. The work does not leave Istanbul. Gebze is not written from this page.
The band below is the published 2026 list. It is an estimate. The binding figure is written on site after measurement, and the work starts after that.
The bands below are the labour ranges actually seen on recent call-outs and exclude materials. The binding figure is given in writing after on-site measurement, and no work starts without approval.

Prices are estimated labour ranges and exclude materials. A binding quote is issued in writing after the technician measures on site and before any work begins. Last updated: October 2026.
Service covers the neighborhoods of Istanbul's 39 districts. Not the whole of Turkey. A survey is not a binding quote.
Not necessarily. The tail may sit in the air. I do not say so without a measurement.
Pull the plug. Do not touch the body with a wet hand.
No. The tongue is where the body is supposed to escape.
No. I remove that bridge.
Not that either. I do not tighten a screw onto it.
No. Paint sits there like insulation.
A short site note. Not a laboratory report.
No. That is a rewire. A tail to one socket is this page.
It is not pressed. The device burns.
No. It is written before the spade.
Drop the circuit, do not pull the fork, call.
Bathroom and kitchen. Water and metal are there.
If the tail disappeared in the wall, yes, and I do not call it done.
No. I do not open the bar while it is live.
A separate rate. I say it before I leave.
Yes. No promised minute.
Measuring a tail, cleaning a bar, a short earth to one socket.
No. A tail to one socket and a run to every room are separate.
No. With the meter.
No. I do not lock a price on a bar I have not seen.
No. I measure the bar where the machine stands first. If the basement is rusty the invoice does not go upstairs.
I do not sand it and say it is clean. I cut the tail, seat bare metal, then measure.
No. I do not put a screwdriver on it before permission is written. If there is permission I write the measurement in two places.
I do not. Digging is the rewire. It sits outside this range. I say so before the dig.
Earth is missing, heat never formed, the leak waits on the body. I do not let the shop open before the tail arrives.
No. If it fits one socket it is here. If it belongs on the circuit page it is written apart.
