An electrician call in Esenler comes from the stair of a home that faces the platforms, not from the platform itself. In Turgutreis, Oruçreis, Menderes, Birlik, Çiftehavuzlar, Kemer, Nenehatun and Yavuz Selim the housing is tight, the riser is old, and the screw is tired. Buses and heavy vehicles shake the street for hours. Vibration leaves the screw of a fuse holder and of a riser terminal half a turn back. A loose screw heats, an aluminium riser oxidises, and a flat's lamp flares on one floor and dies on another. This work does not cover the terminal building's medium-voltage cell, the platform lighting, or a coach charging line. The terminal's electrical contract is not on this page. A flat whose window faces the platforms is still a dwelling: the riser, the boxes and the flat board after the meter. The seal belongs to BEDAŞ and it stays. No minute is set for an Esenler call, and no arrival notice is given. The call is written as an appointment. A burning smell or a shock is moved to the front of the same day. Labour is written after measurement, and the guarantee is one year.

Part of the 1970s and 1980s risers in Esenler are aluminium. Aluminium creeps under a tightened screw and oxide, as a white dust, pushes the screw out. When the vibration of coach traffic is added, the screw lets go. The screw in a fuse holder follows the same path. The holder heats, the porcelain body stays stained, and the caller says 'the fuse is weak' and fits a thick wire. A thick wire is not a repair. As the wire heats, the holder loosens further. The first job is to remove the wire and write down which room each fuse feeds. Then the circuit is made dead, the oxide is brushed off, and a copper conductor is not bare-twisted onto aluminium. The transition is made with a bimetallic lug, compound is applied, and the screw is tightened to torque. A thin paint line is put on the seat of the tightened screw. If the line has shifted at the next look, vibration has let go again, and the riser section and the clamp are discussed. If the line has stayed, the loosening has stopped at that point.
The reading at the flat intake is written once in the hour when vehicles fill the street and once in the hour when the street is empty. If phase-to-neutral moves in the vibrating hour and holds in the empty hour, the source is screw play, not a failed appliance. A True-RMS clamp writes the amperes on the riser conductor, and the meter writes three combinations: phase-to-neutral, phase-to-earth, neutral-to-earth. If the neutral screw is loose, one flat rises and the neighbouring flat falls. Plugs come out. The shared screw is chosen with the manager. The side before the seal is a separate line on the paper, and the seal is not opened. If the meter body is hot, the report goes to BEDAŞ. In Menderes and Birlik the riser clamp may have shifted from the concrete vibration and the conductor may be skinned. A new breaker is not fed until the skinned insulation is renewed. A 500 V megohmmeter is read after electronics are disconnected. Low insulation is not left on top of a clean screw.
The phone sometimes opens with 'the coach-station electrician'. If the place asked about is a platform, the ticket hall, or a socket in a coach luggage bay, it is not the work of this page. That contract sits with the terminal operator. If the place is a flat in Çiftehavuzlar, a dwelling under a shop in Kemer, or a fuse-board stair in Nenehatun, the appointment is written for the dwelling. Where the ground floor is a grocer or a buffet, its load may have been added to the flat's socket. The addition is separated after it is measured. If the buffet's tea urn and the upstairs socket are on the same fuse, the fuse heats and vibration lets the screw go as well. The split is made at the board, not in front of the meter seal. If the shop is single-phase and small, it is taken on its own 16 amp way in 2.5 mm² NYM. A three-phase bench is not forced onto this dwelling riser. If the riser section is short, a written note goes to the manager and the seal side stays with the company.
If a fuse board has blackened, a room list is made and then the board is taken into a flame-retardant enclosure. A type B breaker, sized to the measured load, replaces each old wire. If the lighting is 1.5 mm² it stays at 10 amperes, and if the socket is 2.5 mm² it does not pass 16 amperes. A main breaker matched to the board's breaking capacity and a 30 mA Type A residual-current device go on the intake. The device is not bridged on an oxidised circuit so that it 'does not trip any more'. The 2026 labour band excludes materials and it moves on site: finding a fault 750-1,500 TL, a breaker or residual-current device 1,250-3,200 TL, a socket or light fitting 650-2,800 TL, an air-conditioning circuit 2,400-5,500 TL, a flat board 6,500-16,000 TL. The figure is binding after the torque and the megohmmeter row are written. Workmanship is one year. If the paint line shifts, the workmanship within the year is tightened again, and a new survey is not invented.

When the platform side is crowded in the evening, lamps in Turgutreis and Oruçreis flats suddenly flare. The caller changes the socket and the flare continues. The flare is not in the socket cover. It is in the contact of the riser neutral. Two time bands are written on the paper: with traffic, and when traffic thins. If neutral-to-earth voltage grows with the traffic, the screw is backing off. An unbalanced load across the phases, piled on a loose neutral, drives one flat up from 230 volts and the neighbour down. The fridge plug comes out at that moment. On a full open, if the meter is cold and the street is dark, the report goes to BEDAŞ. If one flat in one building is moving, the neutral screw after the meter is ours to tighten. If an aluminium neutral was twisted with a copper tail, the joint is cut and a bimetallic lug goes in. In Yavuz Selim, if the same neutral also visits the ground-floor buffet's urn, the buffet is taken on its own way and the flat voltage is not tied to the tea boiler.
A shock is the second priority beside a loose neutral. If a chassis is hot, the plug comes out, and a water pipe is not left as an earth. If there is no residual-current device, the board work is written to the front of the same visit. If a burning smell comes from a fuse holder or a socket cover, the call is taken to the front of the same day. Outside that, Esenler is an appointment. A minute figure is not quoted for the congestion around the coach station. Before setting off, the technician states the band on the phone: a screw and lug job sits in the finding band, a move from fuse wire to a breaker sits in the device band, and renewing the flat board sits in the board band. If an air conditioner is wanted, the circuit is pulled separately, the labour is in the 2,400-5,500 TL range, and the conditioner is not added to an old fuse wire. One year of workmanship stands together with the paint line and the written torque note. The platform, the ticket hall and the coach line stay outside this appointment.
Coach-traffic vibration and aluminium creep under the screw work together. The screw comes back half a turn and the holder heats. A thick wire is not fitted. Oxide is cleaned, the transition is made with a bimetallic lug, the screw is tightened to torque, and a paint line is put on. If the line shifts, the riser clamp is written up again.
No. The platform, the ticket hall, the medium-voltage cell and the coach line are the terminal contract. This page writes the dwelling riser, the fuse holder and the flat board after the meter on the street that faces the platforms. A ground-floor buffet is separated from the flat circuit after it is measured.
When the riser neutral loosens, the voltage moves with the neighbour's load. Changing the socket does not stop the flare. Two readings are written, with traffic and when it thins. If one flat is moving, the neutral screw after the meter is tightened. If the street is dark and the meter is cold, the report goes to BEDAŞ.
We do not open it. The seal and the breaker ahead of the meter are a BEDAŞ report. The aluminium riser after the meter, the bimetallic lug, the fuse holder and the flat board are our measurement. If the seal is already broken, or the meter body is hot, the company is called.
The labour band, excluding materials, is: finding a fault 750-1,500 TL, a device or breaker 1,250-3,200 TL, a socket 650-2,800 TL, an air-conditioning circuit 2,400-5,500 TL, a board 6,500-16,000 TL. The figure binds after the torque and insulation row are written. A minute is not in that figure. Workmanship is one year.
Esenler on the European side is worked by appointment. A burning smell, arcing or a shock is moved ahead the same day; no minute is promised, because a time that cannot be held in bridge traffic helps nobody. A night or holiday difference is stated on the phone before departure.

A loose screw connection has carbonised the terminal. Take that outlet out of service at once; the point is found with a thermal camera without opening the wall.
Diagnosis sits in the 750–1,500 TL band. The job line is written from the 2026 table after measurement.
Fix and price
Branches are separated one by one at the board and the device reset; if it holds the fault is in the wiring, if not it is the device. The faulty leg is confirmed with a megohmmeter.
Diagnosis sits in the 750–1,500 TL band. The job line is written from the 2026 table after measurement.
Fix and price
If the building is dark, the record belongs to 186. If only the flat is dark, the fault is after the meter: one phase is missing or the neutral has broken. On neutral loss one phase climbs above 250 volts and another falls to 180.
Diagnosis sits in the 750–1,500 TL band. The job line is written from the 2026 table after measurement.
Fix and price
Inrush exceeds the existing circuit. The fix is not a bigger breaker but a dedicated run from the board with a motor characteristic device.
Diagnosis sits in the 750–1,500 TL band. The job line is written from the 2026 table after measurement.
Fix and price
The chandelier is fixed to the existing box and a load-rated hook. If the hook is not anchored in the slab, it is not hung. Live, neutral and earth are confirmed separately; the body is never put on phase.
Diagnosis sits in the 750–1,500 TL band. The job line is written from the 2026 table after measurement.
Fix and price
There is no protective earth and the neutral is bridged to the earth terminal in the socket. This is a lethal risk; stop using the appliance immediately.
Diagnosis sits in the 750–1,500 TL band. The job line is written from the 2026 table after measurement.
Fix and priceOn Esenler call-outs the team follows the sequence below. No arrival minute is promised. The technician's name is given on the phone before anyone sets off.
The bands below are the labour ranges actually seen on recent call-outs and exclude materials. The binding figure is given in writing after on-site measurement, and no work starts without approval.
| Job | Typical price range | What is included |

| Chandelier, spot and socket installation | 650 TRY – 2,800 TRY | Priced per unit; heavy chandeliers include a steel anchor set into structural concrete. |
| Internet and Cat6 data cabling | 1,100 TRY – 4,200 TRY | Includes a Cat6 run per room, an RJ45 data outlet and verification with a cable tester. |
| Factory / power factor periodic maintenance | 4,500 TRY – 18,000 TRY | By panel and step count; includes a thermal sweep and a written measurement report. |
Prices are estimated labour ranges and exclude materials. A binding quote is issued in writing after the technician measures on site and before any work begins. Last updated: October 2026.
Whatever we are called out for, before leaving we measure your board at five points and leave the result in writing. It is the cheapest way to see a developing fault before it stops anything.
All breaker and terminal temperatures under load with a FLIR thermal imager; every point above seventy degrees is recorded.
The 30 mA residual current device trip time measured in milliseconds with a dedicated tester.
Voltage between neutral and earth; more than a few volts indicates a loose neutral or a bootleg ground.
Earth resistance read with a digital earth tester and assessed against the 2 Ohm target.
Breaker ratings against conductor size; anything above a C16 on a 1.5 mm² run leaves the cable unprotected.
Fully stocked mobile vans: every vehicle carries Schneider and Siemens breakers, 30 mA Type A devices, surge arresters, solid copper cable drums and junction box sets, so most jobs finish on the same visit.
Service covers the neighborhoods of Istanbul's 39 districts. Not the whole of Turkey. A survey is not a binding quote.
