Kağıthane

The Kağıthane valley holds moisture in the morning. The ground-floor box in Cendere and Hamidiye sweats, the insulation drops, and a 30 mA device opens together with the kitchen load. On an office floor the same moisture also drops an adapter that has soaked in a socket box. The caller bridges the device and says it 'does not trip all day'. The bridge does not hold the leakage of a wet box at the threshold. It leaves it on the body. The test button of the device standing on the rail in the photograph is pressed first. If it does not drop, the device is changed and a bridge is not fitted. The circuits are separated. A 500 V megohmmeter is not applied until the computer power supply, the dimmer and the split indoor-unit plug are disconnected. After the electronics are off, each way is read. A circuit that stays under one megaohm does not return behind the device until it is dried and the rotten tail is renewed. The inside of the box is wiped, the damp NYA tail is cut back, and the new tail is NYM. The wall is not broken in strips to chase valley plaster. Halogen-free trunking on the flat's own wall is enough.

In a hill flat the problem is not the mist. It is a box cover that has stayed wet for years. In Gültepe and Harmantepe a single core left from the cloth era drinks moisture inside the plaster. If a cloth-covered tail crumbles in the fingers, that circuit is taken into surface trunking. The plaster is not chased because it is called historic, since here the plaster has already blistered. If there is no earth core, the washer body shocks. A wire thrown onto a water pipe does not count as an earth. A 30 mA Type A device is fitted so it can see body leakage, and it is not removed so the damp will 'finish'. In Nurtepe and Ortabayır one flat on the same stair has a device and the neighbour has none. The flat without a device gets its own, so it does not carry the shared riser's leakage onto the neighbour. The shared riser itself belongs to the building. It is written to the manager on which floor the insulation dropped. The side before the seal is BEDAŞ's line. We do not open the seal.

In Cendere a workshop shell has become an office. The new riser was pulled in NYM, or in NYY on a short run, and tied inside a box to the old flat's neutral bar. When the office socket load and the split air conditioner come on in the evening, the old flat's lamp flares or dies. The caller changes the socket on the hill, and the joint at the valley level stays. The reading is written at two points: the office board intake and the flat intake, with the air conditioner on and off. If phase-to-neutral is steady in the office and moves in the flat, the joint is on the shared neutral. That joint comes apart. The office neutral stays on its own bar and the flat neutral stays on its own bar. The two neutrals may meet after the meter, measured and labelled. They do not meet at random inside a box. If the office riser is three-phase, 400 volts is not brought near the flat through one phase's neutral. A computer circuit is not hung on an old cloth-covered tail. A separate socket, a separate neutral, and the back of the 30 mA Type A device on the board.

A new office board that closes neatly does not repair the carbonised tail of the old flat. In Şirintepe and Talatpaşa the office lighting is found tapped from the 1.5 mm² circuit of the flat on the slope. That circuit is at 10 amperes, and it heats when the office strip and the tea urn are added. The office is taken onto its own 2.5 mm² NYM way. The air conditioner drops on a separate circuit, the labour band is 2,400-5,500 TL, and it is not added to the old tail. The 2026 figures are labour excluding materials: fault finding 750-1,500 TL, a breaker or residual-current device 1,250-3,200 TL, a socket or light fitting 650-2,800 TL, an air-conditioning circuit 2,400-5,500 TL, a flat board 6,500-16,000 TL. The office board is written in the board band after the section and the neutral split are seen. What binds is the figure after the megohmmeter row is in place. Workmanship is one year. If the device is bridged again, the guarantee ends on that device.

A Kağıthane call is not written in one sentence. What is asked on the phone is whether the address is the valley floor or a hill stair. If the device drops in the morning in a Cendere office, damp and a shared neutral are taken first. If a cover is hot in Gültepe, a carbonised tail is taken first. If both are wanted the same day, two appointment rows are opened, because the box is one job and the board is another. If there is a burning smell or a shock, the row is pulled to the front of the same day. Outside that, no duration is set. A minute figure is not put on the congestion of the valley road. Before setting off, the technician separates the band: finding a fault 750-1,500 TL, a device or breaker 1,250-3,200 TL, a socket 650-2,800 TL. The board and the air conditioner sit in their own bands only after the section is seen. Materials do not enter these figures.

On site the order is fixed. Power is cut, the bridge comes off if there is one, and a neutral joint is not left unlabelled. The megohmmeter is written once the electronics are disconnected. If the office riser returns to the flat box, the joint is opened and each neutral drops to its own bar. If a cloth-covered tail has crumbled in the hill flat, trunking is pulled and the 1.5 mm² lighting stays at 10 amperes. If there is a shock, the plug comes out and the pipe bridge comes off. If the street and the next building are dark and the meter is cold, the report is written to BEDAŞ and the office board is not forced on that visit. When the work is finished, the paper states the level, the megohms, the row where the neutral was separated, and that the test button dropped. One year of workmanship sits on those rows. Even if the call comes from Seyrantepe or Emniyet Evleri, the measurement is the same: valley damp apart, the hill box apart, and the new riser is not left tied to the old neutral. The appointment time is at the top of the paper, and a minute does not enter the paper.
