Bayrampaşa

The load on a Sağmalcılar ground floor is real, but it is not a warehouse load. A chest freezer, a tea urn, window fluorescent lamps and a tailor's iron have been written on the same phase as the fridge upstairs. In the evening the shop does not close, and the flat cooks as well. The way heats, the terminal blackens, and the breaker opens on thermal. The caller says the fuse is weak. What is weak is not the ampere rating. It is the current of two lives piled on one way. A True-RMS clamp meter is written first with the shop plugs out, then with the window and the urn on. The difference shows the commercial piece that has to leave the home circuit. If the shop has its own meter, that sealed line is not crossed. If the shop was tied to the house riser later, the tie is undone and, after the meter, it is given its own breaker. In Altıntepsi and Terazidere this tie is a short NYA bridge made when the sign was hung. Until the bridge is removed, a new breaker only carries the same heat in a more expensive body. In Vatan and Kocatepe, if the stair breaker was added to the same phase, a lamp that dies in the evening and a socket that trips are two faces of one fault.

Before the board is changed, the room and the shop piece each way feeds are written in pencil. A fuse removed before that writing makes everyone forget which socket stayed dead in the evening. If the old body is rewirable, it may have been 'repaired' with a thick wire. A thick wire is not a repair. It is a bridge that heats. The wire comes out. A Schneider or Siemens DIN breaker, with a breaking capacity matched to the board, takes its place. The breaker is not chosen larger than the conductor can carry. A 1.5 mm² line does not go above 16 amperes. A 2.5 mm² socket way is not raised to 32 amperes so that it can also carry the shop urn. A section that is short is replaced. NYA stays for a short renewal inside trunking or conduit. If the shop needs its own drop, the drop is NYY. It is not pulled through the socket NYA. In Orta and Bayrampaşa Yenidoğan, where the same riser feeds three flats, one flat's shop bridge also moves the neighbour's neutral. Because of that the reading does not end at one socket. The phases at the riser terminal are clamped one by one, and the manager is left a note of which floor drew what.

A new breaker is not placed on rotten insulation. Each branch is read with a 500 V megohmmeter. A line that does not show one megaohm is not connected to a Schneider or Siemens body until it is renewed. If it is connected, the breaker feeds soaked or carbonised NYA, not a sound circuit, and it trips again. Damp is common in the Sağmalcılar stair shaft. If a box cover is missing, moisture rides the same device as the shop's cold appliance. A 30 mA Type A residual-current device is fitted only onto a branch that has been separated and proved sound. It is not bridged because it trips at night. A bridge leaves a shocking washing-machine body and a wet window fitting exposed. If there is no earth conductor, a clamp is not thrown onto a water pipe. A pipe is not a protective conductor. The protective conductor comes down to the earth bar in halogen-free trunking, together with the renewed cable. A board with no bar moves into a flame-retardant modular box. The cooker, the washer and the freezer are not left on the same 16 ampere way. In Yıldırım and Muratpaşa, if the bathroom fan was added to that way, the fan comes out onto its own small circuit so steam does not feed socket carbon.

The tailor's card terminal and small camera are not left on a cable wrapped around the socket NYA. Cat6 comes down in a halogen-free trunk separate from the power trunk. The ends are not handed over with 'the light came on' before a tester shows the pairs. A camera supply is not piled onto that data pair either. A separate thin line comes from its own breaker. The range published for 2026 is a labour schedule. Cable, the device and the board box do not enter that range. Finding the fault is 750-1,500 TL, a breaker or a 30 mA device 1,250-3,200 TL, a socket or a light point 650-2,800 TL, an air-conditioning branch 2,400-5,500 TL, a flat board 6,500-16,000 TL. If an air conditioner in this district was also added later onto the old way, it is taken onto its own branch and not left with the kitchen. The binding figure is not locked before the lines are measured, and it is written before work starts. The on-site reading fee comes off the bill if the repair is approved. Labour on the measured ways is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee does not reach the shop's cabinet motor or the window glass.

On the blocks along the Topkapı edge the neutral bar is shared and the screw is narrow. In the evening, when the signs of the small shops and the lamps of the homes come on together, the screw heats. The lamp suddenly whitens or dies. The caller wants the socket changed. A changed part does not correct the light while a loose neutral remains. Three readings are written at the flat intake: phase-to-neutral, phase-to-earth, neutral-to-earth. If phase-to-neutral has jumped clearly above the idle value, plugs come out. The fridge, the tailor's iron and the freezer are not left waiting on that voltage. Together with the manager we pick that riser screw, because the block owns the line in common. Which floor's phase drew how many amperes is on the same paper. In Cevatpaşa and İsmetpaşa, if the upstairs lamp recovers when the downstairs sign is switched off, the neutral is at the point where that sign was added. Tightening the screw without taking the sign off the dwelling neutral only postpones the heat by one night. In Kartaltepe, if the neutrals of two flats meet on the same thin bridge, the bridge is renewed and the flats sit on their own neutrals.

If this building and the next are dark together and the meter body is cold as well, the report is the distribution company's work. If one flat has a living room and no bedroom, one phase of the riser or one pole of the main breaker has gone. Here a pole can sit with the handle raised and still give no output, after the body has run warm for a long time. That pole is renewed. The ampere label is not inflated to spare a thin conductor. When the copper cannot carry the load, the cable is replaced. A Bayrampaşa record is kept by appointment. If a burning smell comes from a socket, an arc mark has been seen, or a body has shocked, the job is written at the front of that day. The vehicle queue on the Topkapı edge and the bridge do not enter the book as a minute. If a half-lit flat and a burning smell meet in the same call, the smell is first and the lamp colour waits. Before reaching the door the technician reminds any tariff difference once more on the phone and leaves no surprise.

The seal wire is not ours to cut. If the meter cover is warm and the seal is intact, the photo and the report go to BEDAŞ, and the flat board is written separately the same day. If the seal is found broken, the break is not closed over. It is left to the company report. If the phase, neutral and earth if any that drop from the meter to the flat are loose, that looseness is after the meter and it is tightened here. The tightening is not done while the shop bridge remains. If the bridge remains, the heat returns. The handover note has four items: which way was separated, the megohmmeter result, on which floor the neutral screw was tightened, and the amperes the clamp wrote. The note exists so the next trade does not put the same bridge back. In İsmetpaşa the manager puts this note inside the stair board's cover. If there is no cover, the note stays in the flat. A spoken description is not enough.

In Bayrampaşa an appointment time is not inflated for the bridge. Burning smell, arcing and shock are placed ahead of boards that are waiting. The E-5 and the Topkapı approach are not a promise of duration. Workmanship is guaranteed for one year and covers the way that was measured, the breaker that was replaced and the shop line that was separated. The cost of materials, the NYA tail, the NYY drop, the device and the box, is written on top of the schedule. The survey fee comes off the total once the job is accepted. There is no round figure invented at the door. 'It will cost this much' is not said before measurement ends. If both the window and the home are dark in the same call, shock and smell are separated first, then the neutral is put on paper. A hall at İSTOÇ is not the address of this visit.
