Zeytinburnu

On the Kazlıçeşme side the ground-floor machine shares a phase with the kettle and the iron upstairs. A sewing motor draws several times its nameplate current at start. If the plate is worn off, the start is read with a True-RMS clamp at the motor terminals, not guessed from a flat socket. The house riser was not pulled to carry that peak. When the breaker opens, the flat goes dark and the drum stops. The stop is the hour the workshop's order was waiting on. The first place to look is not a new socket cover. The starter lid comes off, and supply phase, neutral and earth if it exists are written separately. If the machine is still tied to the flat's 16 ampere socket branch, that tie is removed. Until the machine has its own breaker from the flat board, the neighbour's fridge drops on the same start. The same hang is seen on converted floors in Yeşiltepe and Gökalp: the machine stayed in the home and the riser was never renewed. The technician puts the reading on paper and does not raise the ampere rating and leave the machine on the old wire.

In a flat that climbed from an informal floor into an apartment, sockets were joined to each other with short NYA tails. The joint heats, the screw loosens, and the Bakelite carbonises. The carbonised tail burns again on every start for as long as the motor's plug sits there. The circuit is made dead, the box is opened, the blackened copper is cut back, and the remaining tail is checked with a 500 V megohmmeter. A piece under one megaohm is not landed on a new terminal. If the insulation has crumbled, that branch is not buried inside the patched plaster. It is taken into halogen-free trunking. The trunk is especially needed on a workshop wall where hide dust and damp fill the box. Changing the socket cover and leaving the carbon brings the same smell back on the next order. In Merkezefendi and Telsiz a room taken on later upstairs is often tied to the end of this extra socket. Without its own branch, that room loads the single way that says 'socket' on the board. A True-RMS clamp writes that way's evening load twice: with the motor stopped, and as the motor starts.

Three things sit side by side in the starter box: the contactor, the thermal overload and a short busbar. If the contactor poles are pitted or welded, the motor either never stops or drops to one phase. A small three-phase drum left on one phase hums and heats the winding. If the overload pointer has been pushed above the nameplate current, it does not see that heat. The pointer is brought back to an unworn plate. If there is no plate, running current is measured with a True-RMS clamp, and the pointer is left near that value and inside the relay's range. It is not pushed to a high notch. Coil voltage is not guessed. It is read at its terminals. A burnt body is replaced with a Schneider or Siemens DIN-rail contactor and a matched thermal overload. The setting is written inside the lid. If the reading from winding to frame has collapsed on a 500 V megohmmeter, that is winding work. The supply is still made safe. A contactor fault is not left open with the words 'let the motor trade come'. The workshop does not wait on a second appointment for an electrical stop. If the machine is to run that day, the circuit is closed that day.

After the motor supply leaves the burnt socket branch, it is pulled in NYY from the flat board. The run is not threaded through the socket NYA. It gets its own breaker, and a 30 mA Type A residual-current device if the insulation is sound. The device is there so the dusty drum's frame leakage is not left in people's hands. The workshop's order computer and barcode reader are not tied into this power trunk. Cat6 goes in its own halogen-free trunk, and the ends are not handed over until a tester shows the pairs. The 2026 schedule is labour only. Materials are written separately. Fault reading is in the 750-1,500 TL band, a breaker or residual-current device 1,250-3,200 TL, a socket 650-2,800 TL, an air-conditioning line added later 2,400-5,500 TL, a board 6,500-16,000 TL. The contactor and the cable sit outside that band. The binding figure is written after section and current are measured, and before work starts. The survey comes off the labour if the repair is accepted. The labour on that starter and those sockets is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee does not cover a blade or a belt on the drum.

On a converted floor the living-room socket, the kitchen and the plug of a machine left behind meet on the same neutral screw. In the evening, when both the flat and the drum load up, the screw heats, contact resistance rises, and the lamp flares and dies by turns. The caller blames the socket. At the flat intake the three voltages go on the paper as phase to neutral, phase to earth and neutral to earth. If phase to neutral has risen past 180 volts, the plugs are pulled. The fridge and the sewing control are not left on that voltage. The ampere rating is not raised. A conductor of 1.5 mm² is held at 16 amperes and is not taken higher. A 2.5 mm² socket way is not widened so that it can carry a motor start. The motor stays on its own NYY run. That riser is the building's property. Which floor's phase drew how many amperes with the motor stopped and at start is left in writing for the manager. In Çırpıcı and Beştelsiz the neighbouring riser is named on the same paper so the next-door flat does not see the same flare the following evening. Plaster is not opened again just to clear carbon. The trunk goes on the surface and does not cut a worn or patched face.

The riser screw is not limited to the flat owner. A loose neutral moves the ground-floor workshop and the home upstairs together. The screw is chosen and tightened with the manager. The seal under the meter cover is not an excuse for this job. Nobody opens the seal to say 'let us tighten from there too'. If the neighbouring buildings are dark as well and the meter body is cold, the report belongs to the distribution company. If only this starter is silent and the flat sockets are alive, the fault is after the meter and it stays here. In Sümer and Seyitnizam, when one flat on the same riser is lit and the workshop phase is dead, the open pole is looked for on the board. A handle that is up is not counted as healthy. A pole with no output is replaced. Where the copper section is too small, the conductor is replaced. The ampere label is not matched to the wire by force. Any tariff gap is named on the phone before the technician leaves the shop. A Zeytinburnu time is an appointment. Burning smell, arcing and shock are written at the head of that day. A duration is not set for the bridge or the coast.

In a converted flat a protective conductor was often never pulled. If a drum frame or a washing machine has been clamped to a radiator pipe, that does not count as earth. A pipe is not a path for leakage. If there is a shock, the plug comes out. The protective conductor is pulled with the renewed cable inside the halogen-free trunk and lands on the earth bar in the board. An old board with no bar, when it moves into a flame-retardant modular enclosure, is built with Schneider or Siemens DIN breakers. A 30 mA Type A residual-current device goes on a branch whose insulation is sound. No bridge is made because the device trips when the motor starts. A bridge leaves a dusty frame in the hand. The circuits are separated with a 500 V megohmmeter. Leakage can come from damp in the drum's terminal box or from carbon in a kitchen socket. The two are not piled on one device. A piece under one megaohm does not see voltage. The device returns only after a sound circuit is proved. On patched floors in Nuripaşa, if a box cover is missing, damp spoils this separation further. A cover goes on. An open joint is not left.

The handover paper has four lines: the overload setting, the section of the motor cable, the megohmmeter result, and which socket was separated from the machine. The paper exists so that someone else does not join that way together again the next day. The seal line stands separately at the bottom. If the meter side is warm or the seal wire is broken, the photo note is for BEDAŞ. A screwdriver does not enter the board through the meter cover. A loose busbar after the meter is the place we tighten. If the busbar screw is hot, the workshop load and the flat load have met at the same point. Tightening the screw without separating them only postpones the heat. On a Zeytinburnu appointment a burning smell, the sound of an arc and a shock are placed ahead of waiting work. The coast and the bridge are not written as an arrival minute. Workmanship is guaranteed for one year and covers the circuit that was measured. Materials, the contactor, the NYY and the trunk are added on top of the labour band. The binding figure is discussed after measurement. It is not invented at the door.
