Families I meet on site
Istanbul electrician brand notes
This list is not a dealer window. I wrote the families I meet in Istanbul homes and plants, what they do, and how I separate the fault. The order code is read off the label. A binding price is written after measurement.

Distribution and control
Breakers, residual-current devices, contactors and enclosures. At home or in a plant I read the family name first. The ampere comes after.
- Distribution and controlSchneider ElectricI see Schneider in a lot of panels. I do not put Acti9 and MasterPact in the same sentence. One is a flat breaker. The other is a plant main.Open the page
- Distribution and controlLegrandI meet Legrand in sockets, trunking and flat panels. I do not mix the breaker family with the socket series.Open the page
- Distribution and controlSiemensSiemens has four families and I do not forgive mixing them: SIRIUS for control, SENTRON for distribution, SIMATIC for automation, SINAMICS for drives.Open the page
- Distribution and controlABBAt ABB the breaker, the contactor and the drive are different shelves. The AF contactor coil is electronic. I do not measure it like an old coil.Open the page
- Distribution and controlEatonOn site I still hear Eaton called Moeller. DILM is the contactor, NZM the moulded-case breaker, RMQ-Titan the push button. A UPS is a separate job, not a panel breaker.Open the page
- Distribution and controlChintChint is the economy shelf and I do not look down on the job. NXB is the miniature breaker, NXM the moulded case, NC the contactor. If the breaking capacity on the label is short for the job, I do not fit it.Open the page
- Distribution and controlLS ElectricI note LS as the Korean make, and I measure the job in the same sentence I would use for Siemens. Metasol is the contactor, Susol the moulded-case breaker.Open the page

Automation and drives
PLC, screen, drive, sensor and temperature control. If a code is on the display I write it down, then I measure. No repeated resets.
- Automation and drivesOmronAt Omron the relay, the PLC, the sensor and the drive are not the same box. MY is the glass relay. CP is the PLC. E2E is the sensor.Open the page
- Automation and drivesMitsubishi ElectricI meet Mitsubishi on servos, PLCs and screens. A servo drive and a pump drive do not share parameters.Open the page
- Automation and drivesDeltaI see a lot of Delta in Turkey. MS300 and C2000 are drives, DVP the PLC, DOP the screen, DTK the temperature controller. When someone says 'a Delta inverter' I ask which one.Open the page
- Automation and drivesAllen-BradleyAllen-Bradley is American heavy automation, the Rockwell family. I do not treat a CompactLogix and a push button as the same fault.Open the page
- Automation and drivesYaskawaI meet Yaskawa on drives and servos. GA500 and A1000 are drives. Sigma is the servo family.Open the page
- Automation and drivesDanfossI meet Danfoss on pumps, fans and cooling. VLT is the drive. A pressure switch is a separate part, not a drive board.Open the page
- Automation and drivesENDAI meet ENDA on ovens, packing machines and benches. An ET temperature controller, a counter, a timer and a panel meter are different instruments.Open the page
- Automation and drivesSICKSICK is a sensor maker. It is not a contactor. Laser, photocell, barcode and a safety light curtain are separate adjustments.Open the page
- Automation and drivesIFMI meet IFM on pressure, level and proximity sensors. I look at the scale before I call a process value an electrical fault.Open the page

Sockets, switches, door phones
A wall mechanism and a panel breaker are not the same job. A hot socket is a terminal. A door phone is its own circuit.
- Sockets, switches, door phonesVikoViko, under Panasonic, is the socket and switch I see most in homes. Karre, Meridian and Novella are frames. The mechanism does the work. The frame is the look.Open the page
- Sockets, switches, door phonesMakelMakel is the local series that sits next to Viko. Socket, switch and flush box follow the same logic. The series name is on the frame.Open the page
- Sockets, switches, door phonesBticinoBticino is Legrand's upper series for doors and sockets. Living and Matix are frames. The door phone is a separate system.Open the page
- Sockets, switches, door phonesGewissI meet Gewiss where it is wet and dusty. IP65 and IP67 are label facts. If the lid gasket is gone, the socket is due.Open the page
- Sockets, switches, door phonesAudioI meet Audio on door phones. The indoor screen, the door panel and the card reader are separate devices. I do not mix them with a bell transformer.Open the page
- Sockets, switches, door phonesNetelsanI meet Netelsan on door phones, bells and sensor fittings. If a sensor fitting stays dark at night, the lamp may be finished, or the sensor.Open the page

Cable and tray
NYA stays inside the panel. NYM is in the wall. NYY goes in the ground. Halogen-free cable is for buildings that cannot take toxic smoke. Tray is the path, not the cross-section.
- Cable and trayPrysmianI meet Prysmian as cable, not as a breaker. I read the cross-section and the core count off the sheath. I do not order 'a thick cable'.Open the page
- Cable and trayNexansI meet Nexans on industrial cable and halogen-free series. I do not casually drop a fire cable and a data cable in the same tray and walk away.Open the page
- Cable and trayHes KabloI meet Hes on factory and large-site pulls. Power cable and control cable differ in core colour and screen.Open the page
- Cable and trayÖznur KabloI meet Öznur as a standard building cable. When the job is done I look whether the cross-section print on the sheath is still there.Open the page
- Cable and trayEAEI meet EAE on cable tray and busbar. Tray carries cable. Busbar carries energy. I do not treat them as one order.Open the page

Terminals and supplies
A loose terminal heats. A spring terminal holds under vibration. A 24 volt supply feeds the coil and the PLC, not the motor.
- Terminals and suppliesWagoI meet Wago on screwless joints. 221 and 222 splice cables. TopJob S is the panel terminal. I do not use them as the same pocket.Open the page
- Terminals and suppliesPhoenix ContactI meet Phoenix on panel terminals, 24 volt supplies and surge protection. CLIPLINE is the terminal. QUINT and Trio are the supplies.Open the page
- Terminals and suppliesWeidmüllerI meet Weidmüller beside Phoenix, on panel terminals and marking. A printer is a labelling job, not a terminal job.Open the page
- Terminals and suppliesCembreI meet Cembre on cable lugs and crimp tools. I do not crush a lug with pliers. The die has to match the cross-section.Open the page

Lighting
Lamp, driver and emergency fitting are separate parts. Flicker is often the neutral, not the lamp.
- LightingPhilipsI meet Philips on lamps, high-bay fittings and LED drivers. When the driver dies the lamp goes dark too. I do not treat them as one part.Open the page
- LightingOsramI meet Osram on lamps and LED drivers. If the driver current is not the lamp current, both die together.Open the page
- LightingPelsanI meet Pelsan on factory, street and emergency-exit fittings. If an exit sign is not always lit, the battery or the driver is finished.Open the page
- LightingCataI see a lot of Cata on spots, hidden strips and commercial LED. The strip and its transformer die separately. I do not replace them as one part and leave.Open the page
Common questions
Are you the official service for every brand?
No. I remove, measure and replace these parts on site. I do not print a catalog in the maker's name.
Does an intercom technician attend a Compact NSX fault?
No. An NSX is a sub-distribution breaker. The call is written as an industrial panel.
Is a Delta inverter the same job as a Viko socket?
No. One is a drive code. The other is a wall mechanism. I do not close them in the same sentence.
Is the photo the brand's official shot?
No. The photo is the shape of the part, with no logo. The brand and the code are on the label.
Covers stay closed. Smell or heat means the main breaker goes off. The code is read off the label.
