Ramazanoğlu, Pendik

In Ramazanoğlu the limit of my job is the customer side after the meter. The utility's riser and street transformer are their job. A plot MV cell is not this note's job. NYM is a dry indoor ceiling. NYY is a wet channel, an outdoor run and a warehouse incoming. NYA is a single core inside the panel. NHXMH is a dry indoor ceiling. A Schneider, Siemens, Legrand, Viko or Makel body is read on the label. If the label is gone it is not fitted as 'the same'. The warehouse sheet-steel box sits near the outdoors with a glanded NYY incoming; a leftover dwelling hall cupboard sits under the stair. The two bodies do not share the same MCB. If a hoist 24 V sits it sits on a separate branch. If a VFD sits, the drive outgoing is not meggered. If a contactor and a thermal sit, the label is read. Cross-section is not upsized before the clamp and the label. Bridging is a breach of the trade. A lift cabin wants a separate licence. A fire pump is said on the survey, not invented. If a plant RCD sits it sees a 300 mA fire line or a body leak; in leftover housing the 30 mA sees wet laundry. I do not mix the two thresholds in the same mahalle. If an RCBO sits, 30 mA and the thermal sit in the same body.

In Ramazanoğlu, leaving the modem in the living room weakens the signal in every other room. The lasting fix is pulling Cat6 data runs from the modem point to the rooms and mounting RJ45 data outlets on the wall; each run is verified with a cable tester and labelled. On a fibre subscription the distance between the ONT and the distribution point is kept short, and the fibre is never bent around sharp turns because going below the minimum bend radius degrades the signal permanently.

Low-voltage and mains wiring are never squeezed into the same conduit. If Cat6 and NYM run side by side in one pipe, electromagnetic noise from the mains couples into the data line and dropouts begin; those dropouts are not a breaker fault and replacing the board will not cure them. At Ramazanoğlu addresses data runs go in separate trunking or at least twenty centimetres away, and camera and intercom circuits are fed from their own 12-18 V leg.

In Ramazanoğlu, seven to nine kilowatt instant water heaters retrofitted into bathrooms are connected to existing thin 1.5 or 2.5 mm² circuits. During a shower the run overheats, the terminal in the ceiling junction box melts and the residual current device trips. In unventilated internal bathrooms shower steam leaves condensation in the box over the years; the terminal takes on damp, leakage current climbs and the device starts tripping after every shower.

The correct installation is an unbroken 3x4 mm² fire-retardant cable from the board, a C32 breaker and its own 30 mA Type A residual current device, with trip time verified by tester. The heater's chassis earth is always measured and the unit is not energised without a protective earth, because potential on the chassis is lethal on a wet floor. The junction box is dried and encapsulated in dielectric silicone gel, and an IP44 moisture-proof luminaire plus a run-on timer extract fan dry out the root cause of the condensation.
