Kaynarca

Barbaros Caddesi

In Pendik Kaynarca, Barbaros Caddesi is the neighbourhood street with postal code 34890. On Tuesdays the neighbourhood market is set up on this street and on Tepeli, Yörük and Görkem. There is a market at street level: one at number 2, one at the Görgün Sokak corner. The floors above are dwellings. The call is usually a shop breaker tripping on Tuesday morning, or the flat upstairs dipping for a moment when the market compressor starts. This street is not the D-100 line on Ankara Caddesi. It is not the site spine of Kaynarca Caddesi either. Barbaros Mahallesi in Ataşehir and Barbaros Bulvarı in Beşiktaş are other places. ElektrikçiGO has no shop here. The meter seal belongs to AYEDAŞ and it stays. The arrival window is said on the call.

The Tuesday market carries a temporary load

A stall lead is not the shop socket

On Tuesday morning a stall plugs its fridge and its lamp into a nearby shop socket with an extension. The ground is wet. The extension sits on the shop's 16 amp socket breaker. When the residual-current device falls, the stallholder says the market is broken. What fell is the wet extension leaking to its body. I do not upsize the shop breaker. I unplug the extension and read the shop socket on its own load. The market comes down in the evening, the extension goes, and the blame looks as if it stayed in the shop. A permanent circuit is written after the market has gone. If the stall lead is a thin multi-plug, that piece is not left that day. If it is left, the same breaker trips again the next Tuesday. Tepeli, Yörük and Görkem are streets of the same market. An extension there is not written onto this street's shop breaker either.

The cold room is separate from the stall

The market at number 2 and the market at the Görgün Sokak corner each carry their own cold room and their own lighting. The cold room's starting current is larger than a stall extension. I do not write the two on the same breaker. The cold room stays on its own breaker. If there is no label, on Tuesday the stall plug is pulled to separate them. If the tripping stops when the plug is out, the fault is the extension. If it does not stop, the cold-room circuit is read. The clamp writes two numbers, one while the cold room starts and one while it sits. No part is changed before the numbers stand side by side. The cover is not opened while it is live. The aisle light inside the market is not the stair lamp of the flat. I do not squeeze the two onto one label.

The flat dips for a moment when the compressor starts

The flat upstairs can share the building riser with the market on the ground floor. When the compressor starts, the flat's lamp dips for a moment and the socket is thought warm. The market output and the flat intake are written at the same moment first. If the flat sits near 230 volts and falls only on the start, the fault is not in the socket. The 16 amp breaker in the flat panel is not changed. If it is changed, a thin circuit heats. Two numbers sit on the sheet: the market's clamp amperes and the flat's phase-to-neutral. If one is empty the job is not finished. If the neighbouring flat is on the other phase of the same riser, its lamp does not dip. The flat that does not dip does not disprove the flat that does. They are separate lines. A 2.5 mm² NYM socket circuit was not chosen to carry a cold-room start. If it has to carry it, the section and the breaker are read together, and the breaker alone does not grow.

The seal is not cut on the flat's side

The seal on the meter cover belongs to AYEDAŞ. The voltage on the flat's side is read without cutting the seal. If there is no voltage on the sealed side, that is written and left to the distribution company. If the flat's side is live and the market's side is dead, the break is at the market outlet of the building riser. I do not make the two into a street fault in one sentence. The Kaynarca SSK and Alt Kaynarca stops are a few hundred metres off this street. If the lamp at the stop is dark, this street's socket is not blamed. Night and public holidays are a separate rate. The difference is said before leaving. The work stays in Istanbul. Outside Tuesday the street quietens, and the market's cold room stays.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked

Is this Barbaros in Ataşehir?

No. Pendik Kaynarca, postal code 34890. Barbaros Mahallesi in Ataşehir and Barbaros Bulvarı in Beşiktaş are other places.

May the Tuesday market feed from my socket?

No. A wet extension trips the residual-current device on the shop's 16 amp breaker. The breaker is not upsized. The circuit is written separately after the market comes down.

The market compressor dims the flat for a moment?

I measure both ends at the same moment. If the flat falls only on the start, the socket is not at fault. The 16 amp breaker is not upsized.

Is this Ankara Caddesi?

No. Ankara Caddesi is the D-100 line. Barbaros is Kaynarca's neighbourhood street, and the Tuesday market is set up here.

Is your shop on this street?

No. There is no shop here. I come when called. The arrival window is said on the call.

Does the fault end when the market ends?

Yes, if the tripping stops when the extension goes. No, if it still trips when the cold room starts. The two are separated on Tuesday by pulling the plug.

Is the night rate the same?

No. Night and public holidays are separate. The difference is said before leaving.

Do you cut the meter seal?

No. The seal belongs to AYEDAŞ. The flat's side is read without cutting the seal. If the sealed side has no voltage, it is left to the distribution company.
