Distribution and control
Siemens
Siemens has four families and I do not forgive mixing them: SIRIUS for control, SENTRON for distribution, SIMATIC for automation, SINAMICS for drives.

Each family has its own page
- SIRIUS3RT is the contactor, 3RV the motor breaker, 3RQ the electronic relay. Coil voltage is on the label. I do not swap 24 volts and 230. Welded contacts and a burnt coil are different parts.Open the page
- SENTRON5SY and 5SL are miniature breakers, 5SV the residual-current device, 3VA the moulded case. A 5SY in a flat panel and a 3VA at the incomer are not the same call.Open the page
- SIMATICS7-1200 is the middle job, S7-1500 the heavy one, Basic and Comfort are the screens. If an input is dark I check supply and sensor before the program. I do not erase a program I do not have a copy of.Open the page
- SINAMICSV20 is the small drive, G120 the general one. SIMOTICS is the motor family. If the code is phase loss I do not start the motor again. Cable and winding are measured.Open the page
Questions
Is this page that company's catalog?
No. I describe the families I meet on site. The order code is read off the label. The price is written after measurement.
A 3RT contactor burnt. Do you replace it with a breaker?
No. The contactor switches. The breaker protects. They are separate jobs.
